Fusion Share
Fusion Share enhances Microsoft SharePoint® to help organisations that run complex engineering projects such as those found in the construction, energy, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing and transport industries. These companies produce document portfolios for approval, handover or certification with a significant business impact for late delivery. As more and more organisations leverage globally distributed engineering, the risks increase significantly.
Fusion Share has been developed as a product within SharePoint using standard Microsoft® software tools and techniques. This approach has many advantages over interfacing an external software package via integration with SharePoint.
Written as a web application Fusion Share does not require client software to install.

Accuracy of information is guaranteed as work is done from the same base of documentation. The risk of errors being caused by the use of outdated versions is eliminated. All documents are instantly available online, so delays in retrieving and printing documents are also eliminated.
Information can be accessed from multiple sites, eliminating the need to create physical or electronic copies of documentation and further reducing the risk of using outdated copies.
Fusion Share coupled with the inherent collaboration tools of SharePoint can be hosted outside the company firewall to provide an external collaboration capability.
